About Marnie Parlato

Marnie Parlato is a real estate agent with Remax Town & Country in the Blairsville office. She loves to encourage first time home buyers to realize their dream. She also is proud to showcase her new hometown in the North Georgia Mountains and all it has to offer. Marnie moved to the mountains in 2010 from Ithaca, NY. Prior to her move, Marnie enjoyed a 25 year career in the hospitality management industry, where She has experience in all facets of the business. These include the planning and execution of the opening of new operations to being appointed to corporate task force teams. These skill sets have assisted in her ability to grow and prosper in realestate. Marnie has worked for companies such as Hilton and Doubletree hotels and her last position before moving to the mountains, was with Cornell University. She has lived in San Fransisco, Portland, Oregon, Denver and Washington DC and is originally from Buffalo, NY. Marnie first moved to Murphy, NC. when re locating to the area. She then bought a home in Blairsville, GA. While adjusting to her new surroundings, before getting her real estate license, Marnie received her certified nursing license. Gaining employment at Murphy Medical center at the nursing home as a CNA. Loving her job and the people she treated not just patients, but as family. She carried that care and attention over to her real estate business. Marnie is not a high volume agent and prefers to give personal attention to her clients. Wether its your first home, a vacation home or the home you dream about retiring in, Marnie knows how important the decision is and will guide you through the process.
